Hey guys,
I’ve been in East Timor for 2 weeks now! I’ve really enjoyed being here in Dili. God is really doing so much!
This past week has been amazing! Our team did some landscaping and took down a really thorny tree. We only got some minor cuts and scratches along the way. But we had so much fun working together to make the base here even more special!
Our team was invited out to one of the local ministries for lunch the following day! Oh boy, did we eat like kings! Food and desserts galore! It was a total blessing especially since they fund all their need through support.
We continued this week with all of our wonderful children’s ministries! It was so great to see the kids welcome us back with open arms! Friday, we had an opportunity to celebrate children’s day here in East Timor. Our team went to a preschool and had the privilege of ministering to over 100 little ones!!
Later on, on Friday evening we hosted a graduation ceremony for our English and Portuguese students. It was such a blessing to see them preform some songs and receive certificates! Which some of us had the incredible honor to present! And the food that was brought to the pot luck after was really splendid. Most of the dishes were traditional foods from the area.
We’re getting prepared to leave for a village this week! And we will be there about 4 weeks We are all so excited to go! Getting some last minute things and starting to pack our stuff.
